Show gif-cake on top of fullscreen apps

First of all, neat idea, I'm surprised this didn't already exist!

Like the emoji keyboard, I would expect gif-cake to open on top of any fullscreen applications instead of suddenly changing to an available desktop and showing the window.

After a few seconds of searching, I came across this discussion which may aid in the development of this feature: electron/electron#10078
