files not opening in nvim

Tried opening .bashrc in nvim by selecting the file and hitting enter while inside fzfm. I get the following error:

│file: Unknown option 'mime-type' (see "file --help")
│/data/data/com.termux/files/home/bin/fzfm: line 81: [: -B: unary operator expected

Then it prompts me with apps to open. I have the export option set in my .bashrc:

││export FZFM_TEXT_EDITOR="nvim" # Set preferred text editor

running fzfm.sh script thru shellcheck command also points out there is no -B test.
