Unable to use asterisk (*) in place of dots(.)

Hi,
we are using react-pin-input package with our project.
we had a requirement of showing asterisk in place of dots when user gives the Pin.
tried of overriding or doing some hack kind of thing to resolve, but none of them worked.
Can you help us by providing the feature of using asterisk within the package.
