cleanmymac classifies middleclick as adware 😏 (false positive)

• I couldn't find this bug described in a dedicated issue.
• The bug persists in the latest release of MiddleClick.
• I use a ProMotion-enabled (120Hz) display (built-in or external).
• I use the app with a trackpad.
• I use the app with a Magic Mouse.

Describe the bug
Cleanmymac malware scanner classifies MiddleClick as adware, which I highly doubt as this is the first time I ever had a hit on an app.

I pretty the issue lies with CMM as is a false positive. But maybe it can get excluded to avoid false positives on the CMC side or something in your code iis triggering the malware scanner.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Use current version of cleanmymac Version 5.2.10 - (50210.0.2511270937)
2. scan for malware

• macOS version: 26.1?
• MiddleClick version: 3.1.3.
