Research: how to upload file to edgeimpulse.com

There is a need to upload training data (jpg file) to https://docs.edgeimpulse.com project

But maybe there is a direct way file->edgeImpulse: https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/reference/ingestion-api

Questions to answer:

• how upload file?
• how file must be named?
• how to assign a classification labels to a file?
• can one file contain several labels?

how upload file?
File can be uploaded with

metadata.json must be prepared for the file.jpg with signature information https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/reference/data-acquisition-format. I prepared sample python script that takes image file and generates signature file.
HMAC_KEY (for signature), API_KEY (for request auth) can be find on edgeimpulse project dashboard.

how file must be named? how to assign a classification labels to a file?
Class label can be provided as header param or it will be taken from the file name: x-label - Label (optional). If this header is not provided a label is automatically infered from the filename through the following regex: ^[a-zA-Z0-9\s-_]+. For example: idle.01 will yield the label idle.

Did not analyze in details but can be done with https://docs.edgeimpulse.com/reference/setsampleboundingboxes
