documentation about numerical states in xml #36

I tried to find documentation about the xml returned by http://host/_status?format=xml, but didn't succeed.
I'd like to improve the connection between our icinga and systems monitored by monit using this plugin.
Guessing around the numerical values in the xml I opened this PR, but it would be nice to be certain that the interpretation of the values is correct and maybe include other missing aspects.
Could you point me to the documentation of the values or provide some inside?
