Installer hanging (Win7)

I'm running Windows 7, downloaded the installer, inserted a freshly formatted 16GB SD card, opened the installer and chose Install arkOS to an SD card, but all I get is a spinning cursor.

Have left it for about 15 mins, but still nothing happening. No error messages, almost zero CPU/memory use by the installer, everything else on PC running along fine. Rebooted and tried again a couple of times, still nothing.

Any suggestions as to what could be the problem?

Thanks for the error report. Looks like there are issues with the Windows installer at this time. I just tried on a Windows 7 laptop with two different SD cards (1@ 8Gb and 1@ 16Gb - both formatted with FAT32). I got further than you but on the 'Choose Device' page the installer doesn't pick them up when 'Scan' is clicked so I can't select a card to install onto.

I'm sure Jacob will be able to troubleshoot better than I can. In the meantime the info on this forum post will get you started if you want to try arkOS now:
