Bugged character cannot login after completing "A Grandfather's Wish" quest

🐞 Describe the bug

Game froze after i said "done" to niall to complete the "A Grandfather's Wish" quest, and i had to close the game with task manager as it would not close otherwise. Since then, my character, glitch, cannot log on and it stays on a black screen, with the menus and panels still showing, and also not allowing me to close the game without task manager. It is only this character, my others can still launch the game on the javaclient. glitch can still play on the webclient.

i believe the root of the problem here has something to do with the inventory expansion i gain from completing the quest, as that was the point that glitched my character, and all my other characters without the expansion can play just fine.

🔭 Additional information

i have tried relocating my character (scrolls, etc) updating java, reinstalling game, clearing cache, updating graphics drivers, none worked.
i have also tried running the javaclient with glitch on a different device and it did work fine, therefore there is likely something going wrong specifically with this device.

the login logs on the website say that the failed logins on the javaclient were actually successful, suggesting my character was able to login, but the client would not load properly.

i have provided a screenshot of what my screen looks like when i launch the game with glitch through the javaclient.
