First of all, thanks to the maintainers and contributors of this project — tools like this show how important subtitle accessibility is for so many people.
I wanted to share that our team has been working on a new solution for extracting hardcoded subtitles directly from video. After extensive internal testing we’re seeing ~99.99% accuracy across 100+ languages, and in many cases 100% accuracy.
We’d now like to broaden testing with user-provided videos. If you’re interested in trying it out and helping us validate the tool further, please submit a video via this form:
