How to use a DataBase in RTC.

i want to achieve a task which is this :
if a peer call to a peer who is not online , the offline peer should get a notification when he comes online that a peer tried to called him.
so i am stuck in between as i am not seeing a database here who stores user information.so it would be great if you help me in telling me the way in how can i achieve this?
