Attaching sample project to present limitation when -pl, -am, -amd options are not enough to fully and automatically rebuild entire submodule in multi-module project - (b), (c), (d). There is no other way to fully rebuild module-a (including downstream dependency to module-b outside of module-a's subtree) other than option (e) which requires explicit projects list specification. This behavior is consistent with documentation (-am, -amd options invoked separately) but not well documented and therefore may be misleading in complex projects.
