Jedis exception thrown when running `compile`

using Grails 2.3.9, I'm getting exception when compiling the BuildConfig.

Specific stuff to do with this problem

Could be a conflict between underlying Jedis version as I think your version of redis plugin uses 2.6.0 and the cache (1.1.x at least) uses 2.7.2. You might want configure your grails deps to exclude those and use the latest 2.x version of jedis in your project ie compile 'redis.clients:jedis:2.7.3'
