Buildstream 2.5.0 produces runtime warnings with protobuf 30+, a.k.a. 6, a.k.a. 6.30+

Currently reproducible on Fedora and Nixpkgs 25.05.

See #2022 for the PR that fixes this, but we'll need a new release of Buildstream.

The protobuf warning has been removed upstream: protocolbuffers/protobuf@1af7fd4, so that should no longer be an issue. However, we still need to relax the versioning constraints: #2043

With #2043 merged, protobuf 6 is no longer rejected and with protobuf 6.32.0+ there should no longer be any warnings.

If you're still encountering issues with BuildStream master and protobuf 6, please reopen.

Fedora still has a very old version of protobuf in the repository, so the Fedora distro package issue is not directly related to this. For Fedora's protobuf update plan, see https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Changes/Protobuf_5.x/6.x.
