add usage example or quick tutorial to README

A few code snippets showing usage of the tool would be nice.

+1 for having a sequence of examples that starts with an empty repo (like a mini-tutorial)

I was focused on functionality first, which already provide a good enough experience. I've already started on the documentation part and will also record some small animated screencasts to show the usage and advantage of this time saver.

I can second this. I was pointed here from mystor/git-revise#130 and it's hard to say whether this fits my workflow properly. :)
