Structure/format of level files? (how to create levels?)

Hello,

First of all, a huge thank you for making such as great implementation of a timeless classic!

What is the structure of the level files i.e. is there a way to modify the levels or even create new ones? It would be great if there are ways to mod the game (new music and art would be great, too). Thanks!

The level format is pretty straightforward and 2D grid based. Have a look at Level.js and Loader.js. Shouldn't be too hard to create a level editor (eg : winforms app) based on that. Data is compressed, but it seems to be using a simple RLE compression scheme.

I'm not the original author of OpenRoads. Last commit is from 2014 so I don't think it still alive.
