Why have init.gradle for spotless?

I could have sworn I read that init.gradle for spotless was only useful because spotless did not support gradle config cache at some point. but thats not true anymore. so maybe init.gradle is not needed (unless of course theres some other reason for init.gradle?)

It might be borrowed from https://github.com/android/nowinandroid/blob/main/gradle/init.gradle.kts.

You are correct, it was copied over and only recently removed the need for it. Updated in this PR - #66
