Sorry this is a bit later than usual, I've only just got back into the swing of things.
Final Fantasy (FIN) is out and the greatest thing since slice bread, apparently. Here's a roundup of the new mechanic symbols. There's only three.
Arena Ability Symbols:
FIN has two new keyword abilities, while Partner gets a symbol for the first time.
- Job select is a new version of Living weapon and For Mirrodin! This time we're creating 1/1 colorless Hero creature tokens.
- Tiered is a keyword ability for modal instants and sorceries. It allows the modes to have additional costs on top of the spell's base mana cost. You can only choose one tier when you cast the spell.
- Partner now has an ability icon. I'm pretty sure this got added because six cards on the Through the Ages (FCA) bonus sheet are Partner cards.
