Drop downs not updated correctly when source changed in oolbar

e.g.

1. update the toolbar display to say 'anything'
2. drag a label into the script
3. the label drop down shows a blank entry
4. dragging the diplay into the script - still the same
5. it only changes when a display as edited in the main script
