Best choice for View-Mode and Video-Codec?

What do the parameters View-Mode, Video-Codec and what should I choose if AA works with any settings?

AA itself don't care what Headunit Revived do, it is your device which needs these different options to render the video-stream at a good performance. On most modern devices with a good hardware you can use what you want and get 1080p 60fps with no problems.

However:
H264 is video compression and work on every device. It is the easiest and best choice for all type of devices
H265. More effecient and better quality. Especially for 1080p and above. You need a newer device. The problem is, that there are so many china devices that lie about their capability of h265 and the app detects it as supported and breaks, because it can't render the h265 video stream. This is the problem of 70% of the issues here.

The View:
The App works from Android 4.1 (2012!!) till the latest 16 or 17 beta devices. Android has many changes between this nearly 15 years. The hardware also changes a lot. So there are devices which cannot handle TextureView and run great with Surface. My own headunit in my car is Android 8 and it struggles with surface and textureview a lot. With Gles it runs at perfect 60fps with no lag.
All these options are only for the thousands of different devices out there. My best setting tool tries to set some of these settings based on android version and so on, but as I said, devices lie.

Car manufacturers have some cars and they know exactly what to deal with. So they choose the best choice for each model. I cannot do this automatically, but I try.

So if you have a Pixel or Galaxy S Phone it just works with every option. If you have a 10 year kindle tablet, you need to find out what works best for you.
