Just an observation between HUR and HURev

So I just found out about this app and installed it today. I got it working (wired and wireless) and I want to give my 0.02 worth.

1. HURev looks very polished. Great job!
2. Wired connection was very straightforward, but there's an extra step compared to HUR: I need to always click the USB port connection before AA would start. With HUR, it always just starts AA once I plug in the cable.
3. For wireless connection, I set it up via manual through headunit server (connect my mobile hotspot to the headunit, then start headunit server on AA on the phone, then start the app on the headunit), and it connected okay. The problem was how it stuttered and was unusable. The music would cut in and out every few seconds, and the screen wouldn't respond to my touch. Eventually, I had to stop it and revert to the wired connection.

I plan to keep trying it out in the next few days to see if the wireless connection improves (I hope it does), but so far, so good. Thanks for your hard work!

2. There are some USB improvements in the making. Which version do you use? And if you have HUR installed the same time the USB Autostart maybe a default setting. For me it starts instantly if I plug in my phone. But I had to allow/set the permission to the app one time.
3. Which version of HUR did you use on which device? If it is on older or chinese one, the stuttiering goes away with GLES20 for me completly. And this was only in 6.3 from HUR. Thats why all 7er versions of HUR did not work very well for me. The Wifi Direct Mode with Wifi-Helper should work more seamless.

I'm using the most recent one, 2.0. I uninstalled HUR before I installed HURev to prevent any conflict with the USB default. The first time I installed the app and plugged in my phone, it detected the phone. I set it as default but then nothing. I will take a video of the whole process so you can see it. But for HUR, once I plug in the phone via USB cable, it would always just go straight to Android Auto.

As for the wireless AA, it's been a bit touch and go. Many times it would not connect and would just keep searching then going to start Android Auto then just go back to the app. It might be my phone, so I'll try if it's the same with another android phone. I'll also try to get a video of this so you can see what's going on.

As to the device, it's my car's headunit. My vehicle is a Geely Coolray with Android 4.3. The HUR version I was using was 7.23 (if I'm not mistaken). If you need particulars, please let me know.

With regard to the wifi helper, I tried it but couldn't get it to work. It did connect via phone hotspot setting, but again the wireless AA is touch and go so it didn't really go through, it just kept on cycling. I haven't tried Wifi Direct mode because there wasn't enough documentation on how to set it up.
