Screen Res, C vs F. Joying Snapdragon 8-core, Android 12.

Hey guys. Headunit Revived v1.14.3 has fixed a bunch of issues I was struggling with on my Joying head unit! A couple still remain though. Does anyone have one of these units (or similar) that I can compare results with?

Issues:

1. I can only get Android Auto to work with my Pixel 9 Pro XL and Self Mode in one specific screen res. Resolution: Auto, Pixel density: 180. Everything else the graphics are squashed and part of the display is taken up with a redundant bar across the top.
2. This layout gives the maps across the top, the music controls in the bottom right, and the weather in the bottom left. I can't change this I think? One issue is that my phone shows the weather in deg C (correct for Australia) but Self Mode shows in deg F. I can't for the life of me find where to change it in Android. It appears to be correct but I guess it's not somewhere.
3. Often when I plug my phone in it doesn't start Android Auto. It lists all the USB devices (why?) and my phone with a green tick, but I have to manually try to press it, and sometimes it starts. Is there an option to hide all the redundant USB devices? And maybe make selecting the right one more finger friendly?
4. Usually...(I think always when Auto Self Mode is enabled) exiting will give me a blank screen, so I can't get back to the settings menu without killing the app and restarting it.

Anyone else seeing these?

the weather widget gets its data from the app itself and from the settings of your device:

There a lot of comments: for example here:
Go to Settings > General Management > Language > Add language
Add English (Philippines) or English (UK), then drag to #1 above English (United States)

For your screen 1080p should work best. You can play with the dpi. There should'nt be a problem with dpi not connecting. I've never heard of that. You can try 150 or 240 for example. I just started a Android 12 Emulator with 1280x800 and everything on auto gives me the launcher buttons left, Big Map and on the right side Spotify. If I change it to 240dpi the buttons are on the buttom, the map is full height and splitte left and right with spotify too:

I am wondering what your device is doing. Maybe 1280x800 is your resolution with dpi? So the screen really has 2500x1400 or someting like this? If so, try full hd. Maybe it goes to 1440p resolution.

Please let me know your testing. I am really interested in different models and the best settings ;)
