Hi, thanks for your detailed info! If you get to autostart wireless helper as well, as starting the hotspot, it should work out of the box. If using Wireless Helper Mode in the settings of HURev, the App will scan and search for wireless helper app and the wireless helper app does the same if you have set the setting to Phone Hotspot Mode. May take up to 5 seconds, if they missed the first time period, but they should find each other in the second search. Did you try that too? |

Hey! Thank you very much for the work, the app is really good :)
I would like to ask for a little support to make it work better.
My plan:
What I absolutely do not want is to involve Bluetooth in the process, because it causes conflicts between the car’s Bluetooth hands-free system, Android Auto hands-free, and my smartwatch when they are all active at the same time.
Either I start the server in the Android Auto settings and then tap Wi-Fi in the Revive app,
or I press Start in the Wireless Helper app and then tap Wi-Fi in the Revive app
This way it’s really not seamless at all.
I’ve managed to get to the point where the phone turns on the Wi-Fi hotspot and the head unit connects to it — but what next?
Thank you in advance for your supportive help :)
Phone: Xiaomi 12, HyperOS 2.0.208.0, Android 15
Headunit: Chinese Android 10(fake, around 8.1) 1024x600 10", Allwinner quadcore T3 P1, 2G RAM, 32GB ROM
P.S.: I found a small bug. If I keep changing the resolution and DPI, then connect, disconnect, change the resolution and DPI again, and repeat this several times, eventually the resolution gets stuck. The image on the head unit’s display then becomes either smaller or larger than the screen — meaning it either overflows beyond the edges or is centered with black borders around it.
