Usage of RxJava2

Maybe it's time to move to RxJava3 ?

Also why is it api instead of implementation ?

Hi @mbernier85, thanks for bringing this up.
I created a backlog item internally to upgrade to RxJava3 and make it an 'implementation' dependency instead of 'api'. Is this currently blocking you?
