Different scrollable DOM

It would be awesome if it was possible to pass the scroll element to watch. My app should use this effect in a part that is not the whole viewport but a column. It would be cool to be able to specify this parent column.

Any updates on this issue? Is there a hack or fix we can apply to the plugin to make it work on another scroll element?
