Unable to change the time-point of video progress bar at the bottom

When watching an episode, I am unable to click on the video progress bar at the bottom and hence cannot change the time-point of the episode.
I am able to click on all the option on the top right (changing video source, quality, fullscreen mode)
I can also click the play button on the left of the video progress bar and the mute button on the right.
Occasionally, when spam clicking the video progress bar it would register one of the clicks and the video progress is moved. However, this is difficult to replicate and does not occur often.

It also starts newepisodes on the 9:10 mark
