"Invalid Read" error when launching melee iso #154

I installed libmelee and set up the gecko codes exactly as described in the readme, and it connects to console and opens dolphin correctly. But immediately after launching the melee iso, dolphin gets hit with a ton of "invalid read from xxxxxxx" errors

I tried turning off panic handlers but the game still doesn't progress past a full black screen. The same iso works fine in regular dolphin

Using windows 10 pro 64, python 3.11.2, libmelee version 0.41.1, slippi launcher 2.11.7, not sure what I should try next
