Hello. I have implemented a temporary local file associated with the atomic chrome buffer. There is an option to remove the file when closing the connection. Also, saving the file also syncs and vice versa. The reason for this is to make the package work with overleaf and auctex. I found that auctex required a local file to work. I have been testing this for a couple of months with no issues. The code is here. If this is of interest, I can submit a PR.
