Lag in showing the video #7

Hi
When using Shift+Arrow to move around the video in single steps, there's an increasing lag between the button press and the video changing (it seems to be buffering multiple buttons before moving).
Is that on purpose or is that a problem with the implementation? This kills the interactivity. People would use ShuttlePros to single step around and they expect immediate visual feedback..
