Required permissions seem excessive #2

Hi,
I found your extension when looking to customize the favicon for a site I have multiple pages bookmarked (and I want to differentiate them nicely). While on the face of it your solution looks like a good fit but I decided not to use it because of what seems like quite excessive permission requirements. Specifically "Access your data for all websites".
I know sometimes using one feature of an API forces you into some very broad permission requirements, or in early stage software sometimes there is an overly broad net cast on permissions. But is possible to remove this requirement? On the face of it it seems like this permission shouldn't be needed for the functionality of the addon.
