Telemetry: battery1 and IHU Temp, nothing else

Hello,

Just finished assembling the cubesatsim with Pi Zero 2W (v2.2). Followed the directions and all seemed to go well. Radio operates and the FIB (v4beta) is set up on a RasPi and is operating. Receiving Battery1 data and and IHU Temp. However, nothing else. Test plan suggests I should be getting STEM Payload Status OK and non-zero Acceleration value in one of the +X Panel, +Y Panel, or +Z Panel boxes. Alas, not for me.

Did a partial disassembly to check the JST connector cables between battery, solar, and main boards. They match the stacking instructions. No signs of loose connections, but hard to tell.

Is this a known issue with a fix? Any guidance for a diagnostic trail would be appreciated.

Hi Raoul,

Can you screen shot (or photograph) your FoxTelem Health tab showing all the telemetry?

Can you type these command into your Pi Zero 2 and paste the output:

 cd
 CubeSatSim/config
 CubeSatSim/config -v
 CubeSatSim/config -p
 CubeSatSim/log

Alan, thanks for the prompt reply, but it is safe to call off the dogs.

The issue turned out to be improper installation of the solar board; the headers were offset so only one set of pins were in the holes, the other set outside. This should be added to the lore of what can go wrong, and the corresponding symptoms.

The telemetry is now as expected. Proceeding with the qualification test.

Your assembly instructions were great, and having a test plan is a gift. I expect both the journey and the completed outcome to be rewards!
