Discrepancies in function names

The HandySplit doc lists 8 functions. When I view the "Handysplit" category in my keys preferences,I find 9 functions, with somewhat ambiguous names:

• "Clone editor"
• "Clone editor ()"
• "Exchange editors"
• "Flatten split editors"
• "Move editor"
• "Split editor"
• "Split editor ()"
• "Split editor ()"
• "Toggle focus between split editors"

I have no idea what the "()" means in several of these.

There are three functions that do some sort of "split editor" functionality, but I sure can't tell from their names what they do, or how they are different from each other.

These names should be changed to, at the least, be unique, and hopefully to be self-documenting to the point where I have a little better idea of what each of these does.
