Make the interface more stylish

I was thinking taking out the grid, making the background black and have two dotted lines down the horizontal and vertical centers that pulse to the beat playing in the background. The pulsing to the beat bit can be set up without too much difficulty using a metronome (see this Wiki example) and checking its values in the draw call.
