Model / instructions for enclosure

Looking through the different parts, I cannot find any instructions on how to build or print the enclosure. Are the 3d printed parts stl files missing ? I can export stl files by opening AirBoxLab_v2_assembled.stp from FreeCAD but I'm not sure this is correct.

By the way when opening the stp (Catia ?) file in FreeCAD I get :

  Cannot compute Inventor representation for the shape of Part__Feature750.

If you drill the holes using a PVC tube bought in a hardware store, can you make a paper print out of the holes ?

Hello. Have a look at the BOM you have some links to order the parts from shapeway. For the tube you should not use SLS printing but rather filament printing or as you mentioned an extruded tube.

Regarding your issue with FreeCAD did you try with another software? STP should be really easy to open in Solidworks or Catia.

Thanks for your reply. In the BOM there is a reference to Cylinder_v13.igs which doesn't seem to exist in the repo.

I'm happy to try another CAD software for AirBoxLab_v2_assembled.stp, as long as it's an open source software, that's why I didn't use Catia. I'm a bit new to this 3D CAD stuff, but would there be a more "standard"/open file format for those files that you could export from Catia to make it more accessible to those without a Catia licence ?

cylinder_v13 is part of the assembly file provided in stp file format.
