THI duplication in calendar

(The bug appears for the SIP 2 interface, maybe others maybe not)
The integration of the THI parameter in the calendar results in duplication of the value for the same time : for the same day (e.g Oct 1st 2025) we have 3 sets (for 3 different day-time) of 4 data each with a time range of 1 second. Is it possible to maintain the 3 sets of data (1 for the morning, 1 early afternoon, 1 evening) with only 1 data for each ?

I went throught the SIP2 deployment and I understood that the is no duplication bug.

The number of times the THI value appears in the Farm Calender is equal to the number of Parcels added in the calendar.

For instance I see that you have 5 parcels added in the calendar, and thus 5 different values for THI.

In the latest version of WeatherSrv/FarmCalendar we have updated the title of the THI observation in order to be more self-explanatory like:

My Farm: parcel_name - THI: 79.46

but we have not changes the number or observations created (you will still see 5 data). Is that sufficient for your use case?

Considering that THI is calculated from temperature & humidity in a specific location, if you want to display 1 data which one (for which parcel) would that be?

Thank you for your investigations and the explanation for such duplication. I didn't have in mind that the number of THI values shown in the calendar is linked to the number of parcels we registered ! I understand way better now, thank you !

For our use case, the THI indicator is used as a parameter for getting a first idea on the animal welfare on field. If we could get only three THI values per day per user (the first for morning THI, the second around noon, and the third for the evening), without taking account of the number of parcels of the farms, that might be more user-friendly for our case.

Maybe by getting the mean for each sequence of THI values ?

@e-peltier18 THI is calculated using temperature & humidity. Thus it is referring to a specific place. Could be a location, a room, etc

If you want one THI value you should specify where this value will refer to. We could also potentially provide a mean value of all THI values of each parcels but I am sure if that would be useful for you.

Thank you for the explanation. I discussed this topic with my colleagues and we will adapt our use of FarmCalendar according to this specification (register only the parcels used for this year's pasture program). Thus we wil only get the THI values for parcels where animals are grazing.

Another topic appeared during our discussions : is it possible to implement a ranking scale for the parcels we registered ? The idea beneath that is to plan our field-occupation program such as "#1 parcel is the first were animals will be grazing ; #2 is the second ; ..." and so on. Or to establish one parcel as the main one and get to filter only its THI values in the calendar tool ?

Do you want to rank them based on what specifically?
Also, once you ranked them, for what do you want to use this ranking for? I'm trying to understand in what page/view this would be used.
