CPH extension stuck on 'Waiting for extension' when submitting from VS Code

Issue:
When I try to submit a problem using the CPH extension in VS Code, it shows "Waiting for extension" and never completes the submission.
Steps Tried:

• Restarted VS Code and browser
• Reinstalled Competitive Companion
• Verified port configuration (default 27121)
• Tried switching browsers
• Disabled other extensions

Expected Behavior:
The problem should be parsed and submitted to VS Code without hanging.

Actual Behavior:
Submission hangs indefinitely with "Waiting for extension" message.

It seems that the background service worker is terminated by Edge due to the high-frequency call of "getSubmit" (looks like every 3s a time), I suspect this is the main reason of this issue. The only temporary workaround I've found is to keep the Service Worker's DevTools window open, which prevents the browser from suspending it.

yes it worked for me when i toggle between collect error checked and unchecked every time before submitting. i guess what you said is correct thanks.
