Great project. Which I just found out about following this article from El País.
But I'm concerned about the license of your project. Have you chosen one already? May I suggest the CERN Open Hardware License as it could be the most efficient one applied to open source project like yours.

Looking forward to see the developpment of this.

Currently I was thinking about sharing it under a MIT license. But that license seems to be also a good one.

I'll take a closer look to it!

Actually, choose whatever license you see fit. I was just making a suggestion because I could not see any. There is a lot of discussion around which license is better or works for open hardware. I'm not a lawyer and have mostly released projects under CC-BY-SA or Free Art License. But after discussion with a specialized lawyer, he suggested using CERN for these type of projects as it protects not only documentation but also manifestation of the documentation, in other words, the product itself. But really, in these matters, for me, the creator is always right.

About my participation and expertise, I don't have medical or scientific training. So can not be of any input on the quality or feature that such a tool might require. I do have experience in open source and open source object. And indeed, I'm always on the lookout for open source objects, that's why I found out about your project. I co-founded a group called @libreobjet. We do workshops and run a website where we mostly post furniture and other similar experiments under open source licenses. We also wrote a book on open source product design. I think I'm mostly interested in your project to post it in as a example in our book. But definitely I'm also curious about the story behind your project. I saw in the article that you received a price for this project from MIT. Do you know of any use of your project in a real world case scenario?
