Is there any command line interface to interact with litetree database?

Off course. The SQLite shell.

After compiling and installing LiteTree you can open the SQLite shell:

sqlite3

[k-lukas]

I created a database from the C interface but when I'm trying to open it using the CLI it prints Error: file is not a database (e.g. when using the command pragma journal_mode). I'm using the executable created by make.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

The database file that supports branching is not compatible with regular SQLite database. So an error will appear when we try to open a LiteTree database in normal SQLite mode and when we try to open a normal SQLite database with branching enabled.

To create or open a database with branching enabled we must use the following format:

file:name.db?branches=on
