The following need to be done before the BlackOps mod can be re-launched in full:

  • Complete BETA bugfixing on Unleashed
  • Complete BETA bugfixing on ACUs
  • Server needs the new init file enabling sound loading from coop and from mods to become the primary init
  • Visual elements in the client on the left panel take their data from the server. A new field on the server needs to be introduced, with BlackOps (And in future, other mods which should follow the new system) labelled as "Standard", and others which require unique init files thanks to needing to modify the lobby (FAF, Nomads) labelled as "Special"
  • Client needs to differentiate "Special" and "Standard" mods, with "Special" using the same system as presently, and "Standard" using the same path as clicking to download a mod after searching it out in the Mod Vault
  • Client needs to allow the player to choose "Unleashed", "ACUs", or both when setting up the game
  • Client needs to show games begun this way as "BlackOps"
  • Client needs to ensure the mods chosen are inserted as the only active mods in the user prefs file
  • Game lobby needs to take an input from the client on launch telling it that the mods in the prefs file should not be able to be disabled, and support this in the lobby
  • All mods containing BlackOps team content other than the new V10 releases need to be purged from the Vault
