102 second startup time

The project is a basic Craft CMS website template, with no SilverStripe template files. Running over Remote SSH, though opening empty projects over SSH works fine.

I'm getting the same thing on Ubuntu 20.04 over (LAN) NFS.

27 seconds on a SilverStripe project mostly built with react (ie, only a handful of ss template files). This extension is clearly doing a lot of extra work that it doesn't need to be doing.
It also seems to be blocking some other extensions from loading, namely, Git Graph wouldn't open for a long time (about 30 seconds)
