Documentation on adding further libraries

I was using the toolchain for compiling an SDL project, however I need audio libraries (specifically alsa and pulse audio, included in the libasound2-dev and libpulse-dev packages in the apt package manager). Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how the script can be expanded to include further libraries - it would be very helpful if there was some additional documentation.

Hi @Nanogamer7 , you can download the source code of the libraries and their dependencies and use the GCC toolchain to compile them manually (extract the archive packages and configure/make by hand).

If you want to expand these libraries in this project, you can refer the following steps.

1. Define related information of these libraries in devel/downloads/packages.sh.
2. Add statements in devel/downloads/download_packages.sh to download your libraries.
3. Use the script devel/downloads/download_packages.sh to download the source code of libraries.

   bash devel/downloads/download_packages.sh

4. Add install functions in devel/scripts/install.sh.
5. Use the script to install libraries.

   # These functions were added: install_lib1, install_lib2, install_lib3.
   bash devel/scripts/install.sh lib1 lib2 lib3
