Performance compared to Aerospace

I'm wondering how much difference there is, in terms of performance, between Rift and Aerospace. I've been using Aerospace for a few years now and I'm actually considering transitioning to Rift.

Has anyone felt any difference?

P.S. I haven't used Rift.

Rift is blazing-fast like Yabai, but not needed disable SIP.
Have many cool features:

• Stunning animations
• Mission Control for visual navigation between workspaces
• Multiply layouts supports
• Windows stacking
• IPC and CLI for 3rd-party integrations
• Gesture support for workspace switching
  And many other features. If you don't find needed feature, just open issue and discuss.

Just try it for one day, and you stay forever.

Can vouch, I came from aerospace after even trying yabai. The aerospace cli at times were sluggish. Rift is moving fast, bugs being fixed fast.

I have been using Rift for a few days now. And I'm going back to Aerospace.

Animations are not necessary as fast navigation is crucial for my workflow (atleast i can disable it). Plus, some keybindings seem to interfere with system keybindings such as I couldn't move the cursor word by word with option + arrow keys. When I open my laptop after a few hours or so the screen doesn't show any application even though i'm in the right workspace (i had to restart rift). Hot reload seems sluggish and doesn't reload after change (my config is symlinked). Having a default workspace count and manually naming but not having to use its name in switch_to_workspace is tough.

Well its just me yapping and my honest experience. Hope new updates are coming soon.

1. option + arrow works totally fine for me, i use it all the time. rift won't consume hotkeys unless they are in your config.
2. you can use names in switch to workspace.
3. "When I open my laptop after a few hours or so the screen doesn't show any application even though i'm in the right workspace (i had to restart rift)." can't really comment on this since i nor any of the other daily users experience this so unsure of where to start with regard to debugging/figuring out whats going on. i don't really think its an issue because i dont lose workspaces/windows with my laptop.

This sounds like glide-wm/glide#16 which I recently patched in glide.
