Workspace back and forth

Currently, I can move back and forth between the current and previous workspace with this config line:

"Alt + Esc" = "switch_to_last_workspace"

But I'm also used to switching back and forth by "selecting" the current workspace. That is, if I move from workspace 3 to 5 with "Alt + 5", and hit "Alt + 5" again, then I expect it to move back to the previous workspace (i.e. workspace 3).

Is that possible at all?

i initially thought i'd leave this up to people to script on their own but i guess there seems like there is enough demand to bake this in. only question is on whether to default to the i3 style behavior or what it is right now..

I think allow it to be configurable like switch_last_on_duplicate_focus?

i agree. you can also execute commands in rifts config so you dont actually need skhd for something like this.
