i tried both jasmine and jasmine 2 - jest uses jasmine under the hood, and i've found mocha/chai to be much easier to work with, so i'm leaning towards that stack. that being said, it might be worth looking into again as it's likely things have changed, and without all the bloat and console mangling of jest , jasmine alone is better - but i've never had issues with mocha so i know it will do the job
