Yes, it is possible to continue working on it. All the resources are available and the source code is published under Apache License. There are still many interesting challenges to work on. See #57 (comment) as an overview.

As for me right now I am pursuing a master degree and currently do not have much spare time to work on it.
But with the right financial incentives I may reconsider and reschedule my time and dedicate a larger chunk to this project. As for the next months until February I am fully enrolled in other projects.
