I currently have walker and elephant installed on EndeavourOS/arch on hyprland
Typing in certain or sometimes randomly will cause freezes. I also get microfreezing sometimes here and there, and this hasn't happened until recently (maybe last 2 weeks or so).
I didn't update my desktop initially, but my laptop had the newest versions which had the problem, and after updating my desktop, i now have it on there too. I initially had AUR elephant / elephant-* installed, but then swapped to elephant-all-bin. Normal
walkerfor walker installwalker - 2.15.2-1
elephant - 2.20.3-1
The most annoying part is that I'm not able to kill -9 walker/elephant with immediate feedback. It usually takes a really long time before it'll respond to the kill command.
The most reliable way i was able to replicate was typing the word "libre" really fast into walker, which resulted in a freeze.
Usually have to kill elephant first, then pkill -9 walker and wait a very long time for it to close
I also tried clearing the cache, and my clipboard but that didn't seem to help. Debug logs don't really print anything in particular out of the ordinary search timings.
my config file looks like this
