Actions for sub menus

I have a menu for changing wallpapers with a sub menu. I want to add an additional action. Here's what I've got:

Menu:

wall.lua:

walker/config.toml:

But if a sub menu is selected, pressing any button associated with an action doesn't perform the action, it just opens the sub menu. Is there a way to fix this or prevent additional actions from appearing in the prompts when a sub menu is selected?
