Allow (lua) menus to set the score for their entries

I wrote a very simple menu to run nix run nixpkgs#<query> and I want to use that as one of my default providers in walker. It should only be used as a fallback to everything else (basically score=0).

I'm naming the entry Run pkgs.<query> so it shows up for whatever I search, but I found out that in some cases it ranks higher then the entry I actually want.

For now, the only real example I got is Run pkgs.silksong ranking higher than Hollow Knight: Silksong, but it's very easy to come up with other examples.

Yeah, a different solution would be more suitable I think. F.e. some sort of provider-weighting.

A provider weighting system would be very useful!

(It isn't my use case right now) But there should still be some reason to want the results to conditionally rank lower or higher.

What about exposing the function that generates the default score to lua? That way people can freely compose their scoring rationale with the fuzzy seach ranking however they want.

I might add that I would definitely work on a way for menus to set their scores after we agree on some implementation.
But Im probably not fit to help out on the weighting system...

would you mind sharing your custom menu? i need to play around with this to wrap my head around a good solution. I don't think just setting the score to 0/1 is the best solution...
