Hey nice work thus far! Have you looked at the Fairgame bot by Hari? (Used to be nvidia-bot) They've got a lot of people working on it and I bet you could get a lot of help with your code and implementation from the folks there so you're not going solo and can reach your goals sooner. Anywho, awesome what you're doing!
