Option to display new events using an icon in the status bar #196

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
To learn if new shaky events are prevented, I should click on the icon in the bar and check the stats.
Describe the solution you'd like
We could indicate new events by temporarily changing the icon's shape or color. To accommodate colorblind individuals, this transition should change intensity.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I considered system notification, but this type of feedback could be too invasive and distracting.
