I'm excited to announce that a premium version of the jpFAQ plugin is in the works!
Over the past months, the plugin has seen steady improvements, including:
✅ Upgrade Wizard — Seamlessly migrate from list_type (plugin) to CType (content element), and update to the new v13 Flexform structure. Highly recommended when upgrading from TYPO3 versions older than v13. Especially when many plugins / FAQs are in use!
✅ Robust error handling for missing TypoScript or Flexform values.
✅ Improved bot protection to reduce false “helpful” actions.
✅ Google reCAPTCHA v3 integration for better spam filtering on the comment form.
✅ Optional logging of spam attempts for monitoring and debugging.
✅ Modern frontend — Now using vanilla JavaScript (TypeScript included), with no more jQuery dependency!
✅ And many more improvements under the hood.
💎 What’s in the Premium Version?
The premium edition will offer faster support, extended features as listed above, deeper configuration options, and possibly integrations based on community requests.
It will remain Composer-compatible, with a focus on easy installation and integration into your TYPO3 setup.
